  • Circularity for PET & Polyester Plastics

    Our team has developed a proprietary technology for the permanent recycling for the everyday polymer, polyethylene terephthalate (PET), used in beverage bottles, food packaging, and textiles. This new exciting technology enables continuous recycling for all grades of PET, spanning pristine bottle grades to low-grade PET based pots, tubs, and trays. Indefinite monomer generation and repolymerisation as ‘new’ virgin PET, equivalent to fossil fuel extracted material, is delivered in this new industrially scalable process. Expansion to other polyester polymers such as PBT and PTT has also been demonstrated.

The platform is designed for fibre-based and compostable packaging applications, including paper cups, fruit labels, fibre trays, and flexible packaging.
